Cuban athlete of Greco-Roman wrestling, Glory of Cuban sport, Pan American champion, world champion and double Olympic champion. He was the flag bearer of the Cuban delegation at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and the London Olympics in 2012 and the champion defeating Heiki Nabi 2-0, 1-0.
