PROVINCIAL ENTERPRISE OF DRUGSTORES AND OPTICS
The Provincial Enterprise of Drugstores and Optics of Pinar del Río, according to its corporate purpose, approved by Resolution 865/2011 of the Ministry of Economy and Planning dated December 8, 2011, has the following specific attributions:
- To commercialize in a retail manner medicines, curing materials and aseptic material of national production and import in Cuban pesos, according to nomenclature approved by the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
- To produce, transport and wholesale and retail sale of natural medicines, peloids, medicinal mineral waters, homeopathic and floral remedies, as well as medicines for dispensary production and other products authorized by the Ministry of Public Health in Cuban pesos, according to nomenclature approved by the Ministry of Internal Commerce.
- To carve optical lenses, as well as to manufacture, repair and retail eyeglasses and other optical articles authorized by the Ministry of Public Health in Cuban pesos, according to a nomenclature approved by the Ministry of Internal Commerce.
To produce and retail auditive equipment and accessories in Cuban pesos, according to a nomenclature approved by the Ministry of Internal Commerce.
Retail medical effects in Cuban pesos, according to a nomenclature approved by the Ministry of Internal Commerce.
Provide rental services of medical equipment, eventually available in Cuban pesos.
Provide cafeteria and dining services to its workers in Cuban pesos.
