Procedure description: Authorization of humanitarian entry in favor of Cuban citizens who have emigrated to visit their close relatives who have died or are seriously ill.

Requirements:

• Updated identity card of the person who serves as reference in Cuba.
• Summary of the patient's medical history in Cuba or death certificate, as appropriate.
• Application form for entry to Cuba (AP-1).
• Reference person form (AP-3).

Supporting legal basis:

Updated edition of Law 1312/76 and its Regulations.

Cost: without tax

Approximate duration: (72 hours up to 90 days)

Formats:

• Entry Request Form (AP-1)
• Form for the reference person in Cuba (AP-3)

Procedure description: Act authorizing the extension of the stay in the national territory to Cubans residing abroad.

Requirements:

• Qualified passport.
• Medical insurance policy.
• Payment of tax on stamps as established by the Ministry of Finance and Prices.

Cost: $ 25.00 CUC in stamps.

Approximate Duration: Immediate

Formats: Migratory applications entry form (AO-3)

Procedure description: Action taken against Cuban citizens who are minors or incapable persons residing in the National Territory, titulars. of current passports issued before applying  Decree-Law No. 302 (Temporary Provision DL 302), which remain in force.

Requirements:

• Physical presence of the titular.
• Identity Card or Minor Card as appropriate.
• Titular passport.
• Authorization formalized before a public notary  of the corresponding parents or legal representatives, of minors under 18 years old or incapable persons.
