The Placement Plan for Continuity of Studies is based on the demand for skilled labor requested by each agency in the territory and is approved by the Ministry of Economy and Planning.  The disaggregation of the provincial vacancy plan is carried out on the basis of the diagnosis of vocational training and professional orientation and the need for the specialities in each territory.
Depending on the options, there are different income requirements, which are listed below:  
Admission requirements:
Pedagogical Schools: Awarded at the municipal level.  
•    Pass the ninth grade in the course in which the call is open.  
•    Have a general index of at least 80 points.  
•    To be endorsed by the commission of granting of the basic secondary, heard the criterion of the pioneers in the Assembly of the Detachment.  
•   Approve the integral interview, which will take into account the logopedical and physical limitations that interfere in the exercise of the pedagogical profession.
•    For the formation of Teachers of Basic Secondary it is established that it must reach 80 points as a general index and 80 points in the subjects for the specialty it chooses.
Pre-university Vocational Institutes of Exact Sciences: It is awarded at the municipal level. 
•    To pass the ninth grade in the course in which the call for admission is open.
•    The commitment to opt, as a priority, for careers in science. 
•    Have a minimum of 88 academic index points. 
•    To have, as a minimum, an average of 90 points in the subject of Mathematics and in the selected subject of Science, in 7th, 8th and 9th grades.   
•    Pass the entrance exams in Mathematics, History and the selected Science (Chemistry, Physics and Biology).   
•    To be endorsed by the commission of granting of the basic secondary, heard the criterion of the pioneers in the Assembly of the Detachment.
Military Schools Camilo Cienfuegos: Awarded at the Provincial level.  
•    To pass the ninth grade in the course in which the convocation for the entrance is free.   
•    To be suitable in the medical checkup that is carried out.   
•    Pass the interview and psychometric test. 
•    Pass the physical efficiency test.
•    To be endorsed by the commission of granting of the basic secondary, heard the criterion of the pioneers in the Assembly of the Detachment.
